As a Free member, you can submit 1 URL to 25 sites, once a day. As a Premium member, you can submit 1 URL to 100 sites, three times a day! You can of course submit different URLs every time.
I am a Free member. Are my URLs always submitted to the same sites?
No, the 25 sites your URLs are submitted to are picked randomly, out of our 100 sites.
How exactly does it work?
Every time you submit a URL, a page is created on each site, with a link back to your own page.
What can't I submit to SocialMonkee?
SocialMonkee does NOT accept the following types of sites, or sites with the following types of content: adult or adult themed, cheap pharmaceuticals, recreational drugs, gambling, high yield or high risk investments, hate, etc.
Can I submit the same URL more than once?

If we let members submit the same URLs more than once, some will submit their URLs every day. We don't want the search engines to consider these links as spam links and block our sites. Otherwise everyone loses!

How can I install the Firefox plugin?

Download the plugin and select 'Open with'. Click 'Choose' and open the file with Firefox. Click 'OK', then 'Open'. A window will open, click 'Install Now'. You will then have to restart Firefox to complete the installation. Once the plugin is installed, you will see a 'Monkee' head at the bottom right of your Firefox window. Click it!

How can I upgrade my account?
You can upgrade your account by either paying the one-time fee or by referring 12 people. To upgrade now, log into your account and go to the 'Upgrade to Premium' page. Alternatively, you can grab your affiliate link, which is located in the header inside the members area, and share it with your friends. When you reach 12 referrals, your account will be automatically upgraded.
Why don't I have access to RSS feeds?
You must be a Premium member to have access to RSS feeds. Once you have upgraded your account, you will be able to submit your RSS feeds to RSS submitters, to make sure that your links are indexed by the search engines as soon as possible. The RSS feeds of your campaigns are located in the 'Download Report' section.
Do you have an affiliate program?
Yes, we have an affiliate program. However, we don't pay out commissions. The main benefit of referring people to SocialMonkee is to get a FREE Premium upgrade. Refer 12 members and your account will be automatically upgraded.
Where is my affiliate link? How can I know how many referrals I made?
Your affiliate link is located in the header inside the members area. The number of referrals you made is below your affiliate link.
Do you provide banners and sales copies?
Yes, you can find a set of promotional tools in the 'Promo Tools' section. There are plenty of banners, as well as an email copy and blog post copy.
Why am I getting an internal error when submitting a URL?
SocialMonkee is hosted on a top-of-the-line server but with so many members it is difficult to keep the database up 100% of the time. If you get an internal error, this means too many people are trying to submit a URL at the same time. Please wait 15-20 minutes and try again. You should avoid submitting URLs during peak hours in the U.S. Thanks for your understanding!
